Brian Mock has accepted a full time position with PrecisionBS upon graduation in May of 2010. Brian has an associate’s degree in Cyber Security Management, and is completing his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a minor in Computer Security. Brandon Connor has joined the PrecisionBS team as an in-house full time website developer and graphics artist. Brandon comes to us with six years of development experience, working at different companies in the Johnstown area, as well as freelance. Brandon works with the Adobe suite of programs, which are the industry leading development programs that allow for the most professional and graphically appealing websites. Brandon has attended the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

We’re opening an office in Johnstown on Eisenhower Blvd for PC Authority, our Residential computer support division. In addition to our full time PC Authority Technologist, we’re currently scheduled to have a PrecisionBS Technologist in that office Wednesday thru Friday. This will provide our Johnstown area clients with reduced travel expenses on those days, in addition to having Technologists closer in times of emergencies. Our hope is that this office will be received well by our existing clients and the community, which will lead to an Altoona office in the near future. A Grand Opening is currently in the works, and will be announced when a firm date has been scheduled.

We’ve redesigned the PrecisionBS.com website, as our old website was getting a bit dated and was in need of a facelift. The new PrecisionBS.com allows for an easier visitor experience, as well as expands upon our Support area and Company information (including Bio's). This fall we’ll be resuming the Online Video Training library and hope to complete all Introduction and Intermediate levels of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as some general computer usage training videos.

The Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center honored the winners of their 2009 Small Business Awards at their annual Awards Luncheon at noon on Wednesday, June 10 in the JFK Student Union on the Saint Francis University campus. The awards recognized the outstanding achievements of the Southern Alleghenies Region’s most successful entrepreneurs and small business advocates.
